BACALAR.png

Bacalar is one of the Magical Towns of Quintana Roo that stands out for its beauty and natural attractions such as the Laguna de los Siete Colores, which is named for showing seven shades of blue in its waters, where you can practice diving, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding and boat rides.

It is located 30 minutes from the city of Chetumal and is an ideal destination for lovers of nature, the sea, tranquility and for its historical, cultural and adventure richness.

In addition to the Lagoon, another of the great attractions of Bacalar is the Fort of San Felipe that was used in other times to defend the city from pirate attacks and where today you can review all the history in the Pirate Museum.

If swimming in cenotes is your thing, don't forget to visit Cocalitos where you can also see the stromatolites. It continues with the Cenote Negro that is located within the Laguna de los Siete Colores and that is the deepest in Bacalar with 90 meters in the shape of a crescent. Finally, the Cenote Azul and Esmeralda will captivate you with their beauty.
